Job Description:

In this role, staff will lead the application integration development effort for the eNotary CRM system, provide solution design, and create functional and technical Integration documents. Staff will develop, implement, manage, and maintain applications using Oracle SOA, RESTFul / SOAP Microservice concepts and technology in support of all the integrations for the eNotary system. Staff will analyze, design, and configure changes within the system to incorporate the eNotary portal and BackOffice. Staff will work with architects and developers to configure and support various back-office and Oracle integration points and activities.

Job Duties:

Support ongoing daily development tasks which involve Java, J2EE, ORM (Hibernate), Spring, Java

Callout, Service callout, Exception handling, and Security and Java Frameworks / Packages, such as

Support ongoing daily development tasks which involve web services (SOAP and REST), XML, XSLT,

XSD, XPATH and related frameworks in Java, like JAX-WS, to support NYBE project that utilize the

Service Oriented Architecture technology.

Develop Java application framework using WS extensions specifications like WS-Security, WSCoordination, WS-Policy, and lead/help the NYBE team to build a system that meets the SDLC

Work with the Splunk team, leverage the COO standard monitoring tool Splunk application,

monitor the NYBE applications on a daily basis, query the events and logs, and detect the system

bugs with unexpected outages.

Work with project leadership, help the NYBE team to build automated deployment scripts using

POM.XML, and work with ITS COO Middleware team to streamline the deployment process.

Configure and maintain applications in WebLogic application server.

Work with NYBE architect to create contracts, onboard and monitor services in a service governance tool, such as AKANA, and provide KT to the NYBE state staff.

Provide daily knowledge transfer to state staff, which will include object-oriented analysis, design

patterns and techniques with emphasis on Java/J2EE technology.

Work closely with the NYBE SOA team to implement and process license transactions for DOS and

continue to implement and process licenses for future releases.

Develop modern web applications using Node.js, React.js, Vue.js, Angular, HTML, CSS, and

Bootstrap.js front end technology, along with Microsoft .NET Framework using C#, ASP.NET and

Java J2EE Back End technology.

Understand project goals and objectives.

Work with business analysts to understand requirements.

Develop applications and system integrations through SDLC, including designing, performing

proofs of concept, development, and testing.

Work on various components of the eNotary portal and back-office processing programs.

Create accurate and timely documentation for specifications, design documents, test cases, and

knowledge transfer.

Work closely with customers to create and support business workflow and background data

Work with other team members and customers on data conversion and migration.

Provide production support, as required.

Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

Work as a peer with other developers.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Math, Sciences, Engineering, or Computer Science preferred.

A minimum of 7 years of experience.

72 Months of experience with Java (J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Spring), Java Callout and Java Frameworks / Packages such as JQuery and/or .NET programming experience.

60 Months of experience in Web Development (i.e. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery, Maven, Ant), and version control system.

60 Months experience in data analyzing, data extraction, data mapping, data transformation with thorough understanding of data protection, data governance, database system and software.

60 Months of experience developing web services (SOAP and RESTFUL).

60 Months of Database development experience with Oracle or MS SQL.

24 months experiences of creating contracts, onboard and monitoring services in service governance tool such as AKANA.

24 months work extensively on BPEL, OSB Proxy, File Adapter, developed XSD Schema and Business service, Service call out, Exception handling, Security.

60 months implementation and experience with Web Services (SOAP and REST), XML, XSLT, XSD, XPATH and related frameworks in Java like JAX-WS.

12 months service bus implementation experience providing integration end point with NYBE SOA and ITS Enterprise middleware on ORACLE SOA.

12 Months of development experience in Oracle Service Cloud formally known as RightNow version 2012-current including RightNow Query Language, Custom Object Deployment, Workspace/WorkFlow Development, Agent Scripting, Custom Process Model, Business Rules, Add-ins, Widgets, and experience with developing in a Multi-Site Environment.
