SUMMARY
The purpose of the Quality Assurance (QA) Evaluator (2G0XX Specialty) is to provide leadership with an assessment of the unit’s ability to perform key logistics processes while ensuring standardized, repeatable, technically compliant process execution, to promote a culture of professional excellence and personal responsibility. Quality Assurance Evaluators (2G0XX Specialty) require extensive USAF Logistics Plans background and skills, i.e
. logistics plans and programs including war readiness materiel (WRM), deployments, employment, and support
planning and agreements
in support of contract service delivery summaries and contract objectives.
Unless otherwise noted in the statement of work, all paragraphs in applicable references are binding contractual services and required to be performed.
General working hours are day shift (0700-1600). Responsible for work center cleanliness. A 90-day probationary period is mandatory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are
not
intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.
Measures processes through inventory analysis, surveillances, trends and standards.
Conducts research, analyzes deficiencies, determine causes, and recommends corrective action for required supply or contractual programs/reports. Manages methods to measure, track, analyze, and report performance trends/deficiencies.
Evaluate logistics management procedures, including locally developed forms, publications, local operating instructions, and checklists for accuracy, intent and necessity.
Review new and revised instructions, directives, technical data and TCTO’s for completeness, accuracy and applicability to supply functional areas.
Evaluate logistics plans tasks and conduct inspections utilizing checklists and/or respective Air Force instructions to ensure tasks are completed properly.
Enter observations, inspections, and evaluation reports into the appropriate QA database.
Provide limited training and/or instruction as applicable to address deficiencies identified during the evaluation process.
Conduct personnel evaluations, quality verification inspection, special inspection, safety inspections as the QA 2G0XX subject matter expert.
Provides expertise and guidance to assigned areas to ensure all USAF guidelines and directives are followed.
Provides guidance to work centers when procedures are inadequate or wrong.
Conducts periodic procedural and/or surveillance
visits to all supply work centers.
Meets
contract performance objectives and associated Service Delivery Summaries.
Ensures company policies and procedures and safety performance standards are in compliance with all federal, state, local and company safety regulations.
Responsible for prompt reporting of accidents/incidents, injuries, hazardous situations and violations to the Project Manager.
Attend periodic Quality Assurance meetings with senior leaders/managers.
Assists with managing unit self-inspection program and able to access and assist with the unit Inspection Tracking Database.
Periodically assists with conducting property inventories to meet contract obligations.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications:
Accomplish mandatory training and pass three Evaluator Personnel Evaluations within 90 days of appointment conducted by a qualified evaluator.
Knowledge is mandatory of: logistics planning techniques in functional areas of materiel management, maintenance, transportation, contracting, civil engineering, services, force protection, operations, personnel, comptroller, medical and legal as impacted by, and as they impact installation logistics planning; Air Force operations and organization; processes of deployment, bed down, employment, redeployment, and reconstitution; command and control techniques; techniques of conducting readiness assessments.
Hold a security clearance commensurate with property/computer systems accessed.
Proficient in interpreting data and supply management historical information.
Must possess valid state driver’s license.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of deployment, employment, and logistics command and control processes. Prepares, compiles, coordinates, publishes, distributes, maintains, and implements deployment guidance. Prepares for and supervises deployments and redeployments. Establishes and operates a logistics command and control center. Monitors deploying personnel and equipment products. Evaluate planning documents to determine deployment taskings. Inputs, extracts, and interprets data in automated information systems.
Knowledge of bed down of combat forces, analyzes emergency action messages, and recommends solutions. Develops crisis action procedures in conjunction with other employed organizations.
Knowledge of WRM functions, guidance and administration, surveillance, and management of WRM. Knowledge of how to analyze WRM reports to validate constraints and identify planning factors. Validates and monitors WRM deficiencies, participates in WRM review board, and assists in WRM requirements determination process and support agreement processes. Knowledge of key 2G duties as Installation Support Agreement Manager and Functional Area Agreement Coordinator training.
Data processing and data processing equipment, basic budgeting techniques.
Preferred:
Minimum of 10 years USAF Logistics Plans related experience.
Completion of a USAF basic logistics plans course.
Experience in performing/managing functions such as developing, evaluating, monitoring, or inspecting logistics activities, or preparing logistics plans and documents.
Experience in performing/managing support agreement processes.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Able to operate material handling equipment.

Ability to maneuver around warehouse sites; sees, hears, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for sitting, walking, standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, throwing, reaching, squatting, stretching, and bending for prolonged periods of time. At times lift and carry as much as 35 pounds. Visual acuity to review written documentation and ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Additional working conditions are indoor climatically controlled office workplace, warehouse and outdoor environments.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
