Vice President, Enterprise Data Governance - 11266BR
Description Job Description This position will be responsible for creating the strategy, design and implementation of the Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) Program including policy, governance and methodology to drive a control environment to manage and govern data as a valued business asset. Responsible for partnering with technology and key business partners to ensure core data structures/domains comply with the EDG policy/framework in order to minimize risk exposure. Responsibilities * Create and define the EDG Program/Framework including policy, governance and methodology. Partner with technology and key business partners to ensure data structures/domains comply with the EDG policy/framework. * Develop and define expectations and minimum standards for the three layers of the data ecosystem: Core data structuring, data domains and analytical users. Establish a central coordination point and respond to data related business requirements and issues, supporting and/or challenging as appropriate by the EDG standards/policies. * Partner with technology, data security, compliance and regulatory to bring expertise into the organization. Create and lead enterprise data governance forums and practices and maintain oversight of localized data governance forums. Create management reporting and analysis. * Provide oversight to ensure: 1) all data owners have local data governance structures 2) each domain has governance and controls for data access and meets EDG standards 3) businesses have identified a role that ensure the integrity of their analytics/models. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree * 10 years of executive management expertise. * 5 years in data management. * Experience in data management or oversight of data governance processes and strategic-level thinking that results in strategy observations and recommendations. * Solid understanding of regulatory requirements of the managing of data governance. * Proven success in communicating complex information to senior management in a compelling fashion. * Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
