Idaho National Laboratory’s (INL) Maintenance group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as a Program/Process Lead.
Our team works on-site with a 4x10 schedule located at our Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC) facility with every Friday off!
Responsibilities Include:
The Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC) at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a Maintenance Program / Process Lead reporting to the MFC Maintenance Manager. If you want to be part of enabling nuclear energy research and development, including deployment of next generation nuclear reactors then this position is for you. The key functions of the role are:
Assist in creating and overseeing long-term goals for the organization in alignment with INPO principles. (INPO 18-002 & 003)
Spearhead the revision of and the implementation of the Maintenance Strategic Plan.
Facilitate in the performance of assessments across the Maintenance Department to assess program strengths/weaknesses and ensure Continuous Improvement.
Write revisions to the OMI strategy annually and ensure all actions not captured in OMI are captured as Improvement Agenda.
Assist in developing new programs to support the best-in-class strategic direction of the organization.
Assist in the coordination of cross-functional, multi-directorate initiatives to identify, prioritize, integrate, and develop projects that drive modernization to ensure that assets are mission-ready for current and future work (i.e., Work Prioritization across MFC & INL).
Assist in maintaining budgets for the organization.
Collaborate with the Work Control Manager and Work Execution Manager in writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
Assist in championing and developing the mentoring program in the organization.
Provide feedback to the Maintenance Manager in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.
Assist the maintenance foremen in the implementation of Davis Bacon-covered tasks.
Meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding maintenance and Davis Bacon project issues and decisions on services. (Our POC with Project Managers, etc.)
Assist in the assessment of the PM Program and ensure all procedural requirements as well as Maintenance Manager expectations are met.
Assist in the development and documentation of functional and maintenance requirements with mission partners, facility tenants, end users, and stakeholders.
Acts as delegate for Maintenance Manager, Work Control Manager, and Work Execution Manager as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
PR0300/PR0400: BS and 5-8 years relevant experience OR 13-16 years relevant experience, a combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Relevant experience must include working in nuclear facilities and include a comprehensive knowledge of nuclear facility operations including nuclear safety basis and criticality safety, work control, operations, maintenance, and emergency protocols, reporting requirements, system design, construction, and associated interrelationships.
Proven experience in program management.
Proven stakeholder management and leadership skills.
Proven experience in developing and writing technical documents.
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Understanding of INPO principles in conduct of maintenance and operations.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy L clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
Job Information
PR0300: Salary Grade 200 ($81,288 - $134,100).
PR0400: Salary Grade 210 ($93,492 - $154,212).
