Legal Counsel, Non-Music Talent and Influencers
The candidate will provide guidance for talent agreements across firm. Will be an attorney with experience with legal agreements in the the entertainment industry, working as the Legal Counsel for Non-Music Talent. Structure, draft, and manage agreements on behalf of Marketing and represent all of firm's many product initiatives during negotiations related to spokesperson/brand ambassador agreements, commercials, and event appearances. As as Legal Counsel, y firm will help users grow in collaboration with business and legal teams around the world. Structure, draft, and negotiate talent agreements on behalf of Marketing. Advise business teams across Google product areas on agreement interpretation, structure, and negotiation strategy, rights issues, and talent relationships. Provide guidance on topics specific to entertainment law. Must be admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in California. should have Juris Doctor degree or equivalent practical experience. Must have 8 years of experience drafting and negotiating agreements with talent in the entertainment industry. Experience with standard terms and practices of the entertainment industry is required. Should preferably have 12 years of experience drafting and negotiating agreements with talent in the entertainment industry. Experience working on talent agreements for spokesperson/brand ambassador roles, commercials, and appearances is desired. Track record of successful relationships with talent representatives (e.g., agents, managers, attorneys) in the entertainment industry is desired.
