Legal Project Manager

Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert in scoping, fee estimation, staffing, budget management, and related technology solutions. Lead projects in the development of templates and databases that improve the firm’s ability to effectively price engagements. Lead the design and implementation of a matter management solution for complex and alternative fee arrangements. Serve as a liaison with matter responsible partners, matter teams, and clients with respect to budget monitoring, scope changes, and post-matter closing analysis. Interface with clients and facilitate communication to demonstrate the firm's approach to innovation and efficiency in matter management. Establish and oversee workflow processes that ensure the firm’s compliance with fee arrangements, billing guidelines, and terms and conditions outlined in client engagement agreements. Analyze client/matter profitability and leverage both quantitative and qualitative data to advise on optimal staffing and matter budgeting. Train and mentor matter teams with respect to LPM tools and best practices. Drive a culture of innovation and continuous process improvement through thought-provoking leadership and mentoring. Manage all other duties as assigned or required.
