Develop, support, and present pricing strategies and recommendations for new business quotations, RFPs and renewals to account management and executives within aggressive timelines
Strategically plan and participate in service contract negotiations for rates, terms and conditions
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in existing pricing structures, strategies and processes
Distill information gathered from multiple sources into a comprehensive view
Assist in the formulation and documentation of policies, processes and procedures
Monitors the ongoing business environment to ensure competitive pricing/market position and directs the development and analysis of pricing models and projections
Perform financial evaluations/analyses to assess the effectiveness and impact of pricing actions
Contribute to the evaluation of pricing models and strategies designed to optimize revenue, market share, brand positioning and long-term profits
Ad hoc financial analyses and reports
Negotiate margin numbers with partners on new business and renewal pricing
Provide renewal pricing to existing direct and third party clients
Quarterly audit of partner portfolio and special handled accounts
Succeeding as a Pricing Analyst will require the following qualifications and skills:
Undergraduate degree in Business or Finance and/or related experience
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Strong ability to think outside the box and to recommend additional strategies
Excellent oral communication and listening skills
Relevant pricing, operations, and product marketing experience
Superior writing, editorial and presentation skills
Proven experience in preparation and presentation of information to management
Demonstrable experience developing pricing solutions, creating pricing analyses or setting up pricing point analysis
Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment, in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressures
Previous experience with sales teams is preferable
