Aon Is Looking For an Account Specialist IAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of Risk, in Washington, D.C. Your Impact as an Account Specialist IThe Account Specialist manages key Aon processes that serve clients. As a liaison between Account Executives and Brokers on assigned accounts, the Account Specialist is responsible for the internal processes that contribute to the value delivered to clients. The Account Specialist assists with the Aon Client Promise process and will have some client-facing responsibilities. Job Responsibilities:Assists Account Executive on assigned accounts, managing key processes that serve multi-national clients and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes.The Account Specialist maintains effective and productive relationships with clients.Liaises with Aon network offices on global program coordination activities, including values collection, premium allocations, and premium tracking.Gathers and analyzes data on exposures, loss history and standard and unique coverage needs for international/global submissions.Performs submission assembly/creation where assigned.Monitors and follows-up on invoice generation, local policy issuance, and premium collection.Manages client open items lists and responds to client ad-hoc requests and questions within ability/knowledge. Gathers and analyzes data and drafts assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports and other convincing presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentation. Markets routine new and renewal placements according to company procedures. Works with Account Executive to gather information from client and determine which markets to submit to in order to prepare renewals and client information presentations/proposals.Ability to prepare client and carrier documentation with clarity and brevity. You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience:Successful prior insurance experience with corporate accounts/customers preferred.Proficiency in PC office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required.Evidence of ability to become proficient in the use of Aon specific software tools.Foreign language skills not a requirement however considered a strong attribute.Strong interest in working with multinational customers and ability to work with varying global cultures. Communicates effectively and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.Manages time and resources effectively through strong organization, multi-tasking, delegation, time management and project management skills.Works independently as a self-starter committed to delivering the highest in customer service, quality and results.Anticipates problems and works proactively to solve them through creative thinking. Education:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
