Location:

• Roseland, NJ

Duties:

• Manage an individual caseload with guidance from partners.
• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memorandums.
• Attend hearings, court conferences, and mediations.
• Conduct and defend depositions, and attend site inspections.
• Consult with expert witnesses and coordinate with consultants.
• Assist with trial preparation and actively participate in trial proceedings.

Requirements:

• Clerkship to 3 years of experience in litigation, with familiarity in New Jersey court rules and procedures.
• Knowledge of professional liability defense is beneficial.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active New Jersey Bar License required.
• New York Bar License is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases with effective time management.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
