Substance Use Clinician - ACT

Woonsocket, RI

Clinician needed on our Assertive Community Treatment Team to help those individuals who are struggling with serious and persistent mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders. This program helps individuals that may need more than the traditional outpatient mental health care and psychiatric rehabilitation more intensive services.  Serve as the team’s specialist for substance abuse issues by providing screenings, assessments, individual and group services and serve as a liaison between families and community agencies in regards to addiction. Collaborate with community resources while promoting recovery, mental health and rehabilitation. This individual must be well organized, a self-starter, and have excellent communication skills.

Education/Licensing Requirements:

 BA/BSW in a human services related field required with an LCDP is preferred. Experience with Electronic Health Record systems is preferred. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Approved driver's record and reliable transportation required.
