Aon is looking for a Broker  As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions to alternative asset management firms as part of our Financial Services Group within Aon in New York City. Your impact as a Broker Job Responsibilities:The Financial Services Broker II is responsible for executing Aon Broking industry vision to build a coordinated broking platform that drives efficiency and value for all industry stakeholders: our clients, Aon colleagues, and those strategic Insurance Carriers that chose to join us in our journey to excellence.Responsible for managing and servicing a book of business (predominantly GPL insurance for alternative asset managers) within the sponsor/fund liability segment of our New York based private equity broking team (APETS).Responsible to develop, implement and execute growth strategy which is aligned with the Greater NY business operation and the Eastern Region.  Detailed knowledge of the existing and prospected business within the segment, including detailed knowledge of management and professional liability insurance contract language. Detailed knowledge of the market dynamics within the alternative asset management segment.Bespoke Broking and participation in Large Account Reviews.Developing and managing Insurance Carrier relations specific to the segment.Team Excellence.Effective Communication to team members as well as all internal and external constituents.
