Our client is a world-class, nationwide employer in the Portland area who is setting the industry standard for their industries content delivery. They are seeking a full time Systems Network Administrator who is ready to work with cutting edge technology on a large scale. This position is responsible for daily operational support of all core critical Windows and Network servers and systems.

Requirements - What Matters Most
6-8 years experience in a senior role supporting client server applications in a mid size environment.
Experience with administrating CentOS/RHEL in a large, Automated HA deployment environment
A solid understanding of both the Windows server operating system, Microsoft Office365, Azure; understands paging and swapping, inter-process communications, devices and what device drivers do, file system concepts (clustering, logical volumes), can use performance analysis tools to diagnose and tune systems. Familiarity with Windows 2008 R2 Server and experience with IBM hardware preferred.
Experience with Nutanix, VMware, & Citrix, is highly desirable.
Experience with Exchange, SharePoint, Active Directory, LDAP, firewalls, file systems, network protocol, Citrix, wireless and VPN proficiency required.
A good understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts is required. Should have some experience with Cisco, Brocade, or Foundry network equipment. Ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes. Ability to program in an administrative language (Power Shell, Perl, Python, or VBScript).
Ability to work well under pressure, work with frequent interruptions, and shifting priorities. Set-up, configure and support internal and external Windows networks with no assistance. Quickly develop and maintain all systems, applications, security, and WAN/LAN configurations and documentation. Provide expert technical support and guidance to internal IS teams with minimal guidance. Easily follow and improve instructions, pre-established guidelines and practices to perform job duties that meet or exceed audit requirements.
Writing and maintaining clean, concise and professional verbal and written communication skills.
Work closely with software engineering team.
Able to digest new technologies and apply them quickly and safely in a high paced environment
Develops plans and follows procedures accurately
