Software Tester / QA

Profile

---Responsibilities

Software test design, execution, and automation for Army network planning and analysis tools. The candidate will join a team of 10-12 engineers implementing an integrated planner application that generates network plans for upper tactical transport waveforms and tactical radio nets.

- Reviewing software requirements and preparing test cases/scenarios

- Executing tests against functional requirements and software usability

- Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the development team

- Creating software builds and releases

---Qualifications

Required:

- BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

- 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance

- Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and UI test automation methodologies and tools (e.g., Robot Framework, Selenium, Sikuli)

- Expert use of source code repository and management tools, particularly Gitlab / Github

- Experience with test planning, test procedure development and automation, and requirements mapping

- Experience with test results interpretation and test report documentation

Environment:

- Working knowledge of programming

TypeScript, Java, NodeJS, GraphQL, RabbitMQ, MongoDB

Windows Service Architecture, Windows Power Shell and Python

- Development of Windows Installation packages
