Job Summary:
Performs a variety of administrative/clerical duties in support of the day-to-day operations of the assigned facility or functional area within the Human Resources department. Incumbents are responsible for: 1) providing first line human resources support by assessing requests for information from employees, managers, applicants, and visitors and responding or providing accurate information related to a variety of human resources related matters, 2) informing staff of human resource policies and programs, as needed, and 3) keeping Human Resources management informed of events and developing issues. Depending on assignment, duties also include providing general office support of a confidential nature to include preparation of documents/reports, reception/phones, filing, copying, mail distribution, supply/inventory maintenance, equipment ordering/repair, and assistance with new hire orientation and recruitment efforts.
Essential Duties:
Performs a variety of administrative and confidential duties related to the day-to-day operations of the assigned facility or functional area.
Assures required documentation is completed for applicants and staff who are being considered for employment and/or for current and continued employment; updates employee data in the computer system.
Assists in informing or responding to employee questions related to routine FHS procedures, processes, guidelines, or benefits.

Education/Work Experience Requirements
One year of secretarial or clerical support work experience, preferably in healthcare and/or an HR department that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities.
