The candidate must have 5-15 years of experience for a Labor Attorney position. The Albany Offices’ current practice covers a broad array of areas within the labor and employment field, primarily public sector labor law, including disciplinary and contract grievances, administrative hearings, PERB proceedings, contract negotiations, interest arbitration proceedings, and litigation in state and federal courts. Strong communication skills, legal advocacy skills, and writing skills are required. Experience in administrative hearings or other comparable court proceedings is preferred. A background in representing labor unions, although not required, is preferred.
