The candidate's duties include: Prepare and manage public relations activities and communications for the firm, practice areas, offices and individual attorneys. Draft press releases, new attorney announcements, other firm announcements, and media materials, tracking and monitoring press mentions, establishing attorneys as thought leaders by developing proactive pitches, and developing and managing relationships with key media players. Prepare attorneys for media interviews with reporter briefings and drafting messaging guides and key talking points. Develop and implement industry, practice and regionally- specific media and communications plans and thought leadership initiatives. Develop, maintain and track the editorial calendars of national, local and industry media outlets. Should have Bachelor’s degree in PR/Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field is required. Should have 3 years of experience in legal or professional services preferred.
