Bankruptcy Associate Attorney
The candidate is responsible for handling bankruptcy matters for the firm. They will utilize legal knowledge and experience to facilitate the bankruptcy process on behalf of our clients. Preparation, review, and approval of bankruptcy-related pleadings. Handle all aspects of bankruptcy matters including Proof of Claims, Motions for Relief, Objections, Responses to Objections, Payment Change Notices, Settlements and Adversary Proceedings. Participation in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, and in-person hearings. Regular client meetings/updates. Other duties and special projects as assigned. Juris Doctorate is needed. Member in good standing of the ÂÂÂÂNC and SC Bar is preferred. Should have the ability to manage and prioritize large caseload. Should demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicates with all clients (via client systems, e-mail, and phone). Provides exceptional client service is needed. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Analytical and detail-oriented while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking is needed. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills are needed.
