Intellectual Property and Technology Litigation Associate
The candidate will collaborate with a team of IP litigators to prepare cases for trial, including those involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Will perform legal research, draft motions and pleadings, draft written discovery requests and responses, interview and depose witnesses, work with experts, appearing in court, assist with case strategy and management, and communicate with clients about their IP litigation matters. Should have a J.D. degree and be admitted to at least one State's Bar. An undergraduate mechanical engineering degree or equivalent background is required. Must have 2+ years of patent litigation experience. Patent litigation or patent prosecution experience is a plus. Admission to USPTO is preferred. Experience and skill in analyzing patents is essential. Deposition and courtroom experience is preferred. Strong legal writing skills are essential.
