Senior Legal Counsel
Responsibilities: Advise clients with respect to the application of federal and state laws and regulations to the Company’s business activities. Provide direct management and legal support for inquiries and communications with various federal regulators, including the FTC. Provide legal expertise on company-wide initiatives, which may require legal research and advice related to various parts of the Company’s Health enterprise, including one or more of the following: Company, Company’s Specialty Pharmacy, Company’s Retail Pharmacy, Aetna, Coram, Accordant, or Novologix. Provide daily risk-management support for assigned businesses. Work collaboratively with Compliance, Government Affairs, Provider Network and business operations teams to implement new laws and regulations for assigned areas. Support review of product portfolios and marketing materials and member/customer/provider communications pertaining to assigned areas.
