Aon is looking for a Broker for Aon Global Client NetworkAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Risk in our Los Angeles office. Your impact as a Broker for Aon Global Client NetworkThe AGCN Senior Broker is responsible for the management of a complex portfolio of international accounts, including the placement and service, and ensuring multinational client deliverables are maintained. This individual is accountable for acting as the AGCN representative for the local office or region on new business opportunities and any training needs for internal and external clients. This individual leads by example as a strong sponsor of Aon’s Leadership Model; supporting local AGCN colleagues; promoting and ensuring connectivity, collaboration and partnership within local office practices and functions and fostering the sharing of knowledge, standard methodologies and resources around multinational accounts.Job Responsibilities:Being intimately aware of AGCN Operational protocols/processes/tools, AGCN Value Proposition, and multinational risk and insurance options in order to lead and participate in account and strategy implementation for regionDesign, placement and servicing of large and sophisticated casualty insurance program, including those with alternative risk financing structuresLeads local efforts to help ensure an overall multinational approach by colleagues, markets and clients in the design & execution of risk management programs as /where needed, across all lines of insurance and all geographies, with particular focus on international casualtyUnderstanding and articulating value of various account service and revenue structures for international insurance programs to internal and external stakeholdersProviding international casualty technical expertise to a portfolio of complex multinational accounts, as well and supporting ad hoc requests from colleagues within the office and/or regionForging a strong working relationship with Producers, Account Executive Teams, Practice Leaders and Office Management to develop and execute AGCN/multinational strategy within the office on Outgoing multinational accountsActively participates in operational & sales opportunities providing consultation and directionWorking to contribute towards growth and retention targetsFamiliarity with the local office portfolio of multinational accounts, including “key” accounts for the firm and providing regular oversight on relationship statusBased on knowledge of local client deliverables and any additional requirements specific to the local client portfolio, team leader will help ensure proper team staffing & training. Work with local office and AGCN Management to ensure team / office can meet or exceed client expectationsServing as representative of the local office to ensure a collaborative & successful relationships with other Aon Network offices, and acting as a point of escalation for internal or external discussions regarding certain operational or client/market-facing items to help ensure collaborative & positive outcomes.Coordinating aggregation of key reporting for AGCN Leadership including: revenue, pipeline, staffing, and other information as required by local office and/or AGCN ManagementDisseminating pertinent information to local Account teams within area of responsibility including provision of updates on strategic and/or corporate initiativesServing as conduit of information flow from local office to AGCN Leadership as necessary to ensure proper support and representation of interestsIdentifying and coordinating engagement of resources to support training, sales, product development and other local office needs.Mentoring junior broker staff and other key stakeholders on international casualty placements, multinational client service strategiesBuilding an engaging colleague experience for the team, including providing energy and attention to career development discussions with team members and career planning needs for the office as a wholeYou Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseExperience providing counsel to multinational clients including coordination of service for outward business, negotiating multinational insurance programs, and/or leading collaboration across offices and/or geographies to support multinational risk management/finance practices on behalf of insureds, brokers, and/or insurers.Required Experience:Exceptional knowledge of multinational risk financing/insurance programs and supporting counsel and serviceStrong collaboration and communication skillsMulticultural awarenessTechnical proficiency across multiple lines of insurance, with particular strength in international casualtyStrong Microsoft Suite skillsOutstanding presentation skillsProven Leadership skillsEducation:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of insurance industry experience.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
