Winston & Strawn's Washington, D.C. office is looking for a corporate associate to join the mergers & acquisition group. The ideal candidate will have two to five years of experience in either M&A, private equity, emerging markets or project development/infrastructure. Candidates with energy regulatory or capital markets backgrounds seeking to transition to an exclusively transactional practice are encouraged to apply. All candidates should have strong academic credentials, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team. Major law firm experience preferred, but not required. All candidates must be admitted to the D.C. Bar or eligible to waive into the D.C. Bar upon hire.
