Job Overview: A law firm seeks a driven and skilled Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney to join its reputable litigation team based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in courtroom advocacy and a proactive, organized approach to legal work.

Duties:

• Conduct and defend depositions effectively
• Perform in-depth legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other court documents
• Argue motions and advocate for clients in court settings
• Develop case strategies, analyze legal issues, and create comprehensive legal documentation
• Maintain organized case files and demonstrate a strong commitment to client advocacy
• Work independently and collaboratively, showing initiative and attention to detail

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation practice
• Background in insurance defense litigation is preferred
• Must hold an active license to practice law in the State of Utah

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Member in good standing with the Utah State Bar

Skills:

• Proficiency in litigation practices, including depositions and motion hearings
• Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail, organization, and reliability in legal practice
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality work consistently
