Staff Attorney
The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Domestic Relations Judge, Magistrates, and Court Administrator in performing the functions of the Common Pleas Court, Domestic Relations Division. Individual reports to the Court Administrator. Conducts legal research, analyzes case law, reviews rules of procedure, and researches legal issues. Prepares various court documents and drafts court decisions. May assist with mediation. May assist with Evidence Room. Conducts and administers court docket and prepares for hearings, including pre-trials, and trials. Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance. Attends various training sessions, video conferences, and workshops. Hold as confidential, all aspects of the job. Performs typing, word processing, and related computer operations. Works overtime and outside a typical work schedule/business hours as required. Handles public record requests. Other duties as assigned.
