Sales Director - Regulatory Compliance (Remote)
The candidate will be creating a commercial strategy that develops and expands our existing revenue streams, whilst stimulating revenue growth from specialist products and solutions and penetrating into new and adjacent markets. Have the commercial capability to expand share and grow revenues whilst increasing gross margins (and not diluting % margins). Preparing a robust operating plan so that budgets and forecasts are consistently achieved. Take overall responsibility and ownership for the achievement of sales and other performance targets across the team. Accountable for pipeline management oversight and opportunity workshops – to ensure that all LBU pipelines are realistic and well-managed; that lead and opportunity conversion rates are consistently moving in a positive trajectory. Implement and embed sales coaching methodologies including customer discovery and objection handling. Conduct sales Quarterly Business Reviews to gain market insights, understand competitive landscape and report findings to VP. Work with the VP to introduce suitable account planning methods and performance metrics to ensure growth opportunities are identified, quantified and are realistic. Build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities. Lead the sales function within the team to drive continuous improvement across the operational arm of the sales organisation. Work effectively with product development teams and marketing to identify and size opportunities for new market entrants, acquisition and profitable brand/product extension. Represent **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. at industry events and company events. Lead whole-of-business and industry group discussions/negotiations to win significant new business. Champion customer contact, willing to personally lead the drive for new solution penetration in existing customers, and new business pitches for prospective clients. Build credential customers and testimonials for our products, solutions and services. Represent the voice of the customer to the business, and lead initiatives such as networking and Brainstorming events. Collaborate closely with other senior members of the team including Content, Marketing and Product management to drive a “one team” attitude. Bring a dynamic and passionate approach to the role, and lead by example. The role will require clear strategic thinking combined with a practical approach and close attention to detail. The role requires both the ability and willingness to oscillate between taking a macro and micro approach to tasks. Skills will include decisive leadership, setting clear direction and encouraging a committed team to excel. Well-developed coaching techniques and experience, and willing to mentor over-achievers and performance manage under-achievers. Developing and applying robust metrics and recommending where performance improvements can be made. Effectively work alongside other stakeholder departments (marketing, content, training, credit control, business development) to ensure an integrated approach to customer care and to ensure market needs are being met. A strong sales background, with a practical approach to problem solving, and analyzing areas for improvement. Bachelor's Degree or greater in Business Management, Law or related field. 10-12 year’s senior management experience preferably gained in an information or software solutions environment involving strong solutions sales and marketing. Leadership involving transformational/cultural change and business process reengineering. Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies. ‘C’ Level verbal and written communication skills.
