Job Summary

Analyzes and evaluates operational performance data as well as resources. Performs analysis and management of financial data. Maps metrics against the organization's operational plans and tactical/strategic goals to ensure alignment as well as focus. Builds and facilitates reporting and analysis to evaluate as well as drive operational initiatives, efficiencies, and financial impact. Develops and maintains invoicing, receiving, and processing quotes into the Comcast financial portal (CIFA).

Job Description

This role supports the Critical Infrastructure team in Engineering department. This team is passionate about learning, sharing, and collaborating with others in the Central Division to complete the modification of facilities to support our network equipment growth. Core Responsibilities

Supports Critical Infrastructure team to help drive data-based strategic decision making, deploy assets (e.g. chassis and servers to keep network service active for customers), and allocate work to vendor partners.

Assists in building, renewing, and tracking multiple operational reports.

Aides in preparation of reports and works with invoicing, GSX (invoicing platform) that relays to invoicing partner, and other groups to improve billing issues.

Cares for weekly, monthly, and annual reports. Helps in compiling weekly report for Sr. Vice President of Engineering, special reports, and other analyses in support of the business.

Supports efforts to uphold accurate master data. Extracts data and adds analysis of master as well as transactional data.

Leads special projects across the division and company.

Coordinates analytical support of actual results against budget and feasibility of proposed business strategies.

Cultivates compliance reports that identify discrepancies within the company's billing systems.

Shares user feedback to management and helps influence future systems improvements.

Ensures accuracy of data through partnerships with collaborators. Provides day-to-day validation and spot checks.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Specifications:

Expert Microsoft Excel skills including using pivot tables and ability to write complex formulas and macros independently (if, count/if, sum/if, VLOOKUP, index match, etc.).

Involved in the processing of financial document including quotes and invoices to support the CI teams in the accomplishment of their work goals.

Ability to build, update, and display presentation decks for internal and external consumption.

Proficiency using Oracle/CIFA is helpful.

Background in finance, billing or invoicing is a plus.

Capable of forging working relationships with a broad range of personality types and styles.
