Program Quality and Safety Manager','14470','!*!SUMMARY:
Develop and maintain an effective Quality Assurance Program to ensure proper compliance with the maintenance requirements, practices, and procedures with emphasis on material condition of the aircraft, as well as an Aviation Safety SOP. The Quality Assurance Program shall be part of the AAR Government Services Parts 121 and 145 operations, as applicable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement and maintain quality systems in accordance with program and company requirements.
Administer and audit AAR’s AS9110/9120 registered Quality Management System.
Implement and maintain safety/environmental programs in accordance with program and company requirements
Program focal point for AAR’s APRISe system.
Provide cross utilization training to all on site supply personnel in inspection and issuing procedures.
Prepares for and acts as focal point for AS91XX, US Government and customer quality/safety audits.
Participate in all flight safety meetings.
Ensure that corrective and preventive actions follow effective root-cause analysis processes.
Act as advocate for high quality/safe operations.
Ensures that quality policies and procedures are adhered to at all sites.

Must have the qualifications to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) from a four year college or university; or eight (8) years related experience.
Five (5) years of experience on the Boeing 737NG or equivalent airframe.
Must hold valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Desired:
Quality Management/Audit credential preferred
Safety credential preferred
HAZMAT credential preferred
Inspection authorization (IA)
