The candidate will develops and implements admissions strategic planning for the law school’s J.D. programs that assesses market conditions and trends with input from key stakeholders including law school administration, faculty, and admissions staff; collaborates with the law school administration and faculty to set admissions policies; and maintains and builds pipelines and activities that build high quality applicant pool. In consultation with the law school administration, sets and achieves enrollment goals for each program. Will collects, mines and utilizes data to inform recruitment strategies and incorporate them into admissions’ strategic plans to continuously track progress toward recruitment goals and targets; develops revenue targets and creates and executes integrated law school marketing campaigns that result in excellent applicant pools in terms of numbers and student credentials and that reflect best practices in legal education marketing, use of technology, and assessment. Leads the enrollment and management team in executing the admissions and marketing plans including staff in planning and budgeting; regularly reviews and revises admissions policies and practices as needed; encourages professional development and accountability among staff; delegates responsibilities appropriately; and plans and manages the enrollment management and marketing budget. Directs management of database and ABA data integrity, including producing accurate analytical reports of admissions activities in all academic programs and establish and monitor policies and standards for recruitment operations to ensure compliance with ABA standards and applicable federal and state laws. Leads, directs and manages all admission strategy teams to ensure clear communication of objectives, strategies and metrics. Advises the Dean, the faculty Committee on Admissions and Financial Aid, the faculty, and the law school’s Board of Councilors about admissions targets and priorities, admissions criteria and other relevant matters and serves as a liaison to university offices including University Advancement, Residential Life, Student Affairs, Financial Aid and University Registrar and travels to and represents the law school at various recruitment events both in and out of state.
