Responsibilities

As a Humana pharmacist, your practice can take on many roles. We have exciting career opportunities in several areas, including Clinical Services. As a pharmacist on the Clinical Services team, you will practice pharmacy as though you are at a virtual pharmacy counter. This is a Clinical call center environment. Tasks include:

Interact with Humana Pharmacy patients via the telephone.

Provide counseling and advice.

Research patient concerns.

Facilitate positive service and pharmaceutical outcomes.

Starting shift available:

8 hour shift, M-F 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Central Standard Time

Every 4th Saturday, Closed Sunday

Required Qualifications:

Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.

Licensed as a PHARMACIST in Texas.

Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.

Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group.

Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving.

Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive.

Excellent communication skills.

Proficient with computers.

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years' experience in a high volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment.
