Description

The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead will be a key member of the Trend Analytics and Forecasting / Medicare Finance team. In this role, you will utilize financial modeling and analytics to help create business strategy and influence business and product direction. You will be responsible for providing high quality financial support to Humana's senior leadership, along with tracking industry and competitive trends, develop forecasting model enhancements and scenario analysis to support Humana's strategic development in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead will work as part of the Trend Analytics and Forecasting / Medicare Finance organization under Finance. This position will utilize financial modeling and analytics to help create business strategy and influence business and product direction.

The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead will focus primarily on:

Lifetime Value (LTV) modeling for MAPD Individual

MAPD Individual member acquisition strategy with a focus on valuing the costs and long term value by sales channel

Support Medicare Individual Cost per Sale analysis conducted by MarketPOINT Finance

Lifetime Value Ad Hoc Modeling

Member Retention Valuations

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent applicable work experience

Leadership/management experience; could be people, process or project

Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with senior and segment leadership

Experience with financial trends, planning, forecasting, and analytics

Experience with financial models

Preferred Qualifications

Medicare knowledge / experience

Acquisition channel knowledge / experience

Advanced degree or certification including CPA, MBA, Actuarial, etc.

Additional Information

This position reports to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, Trend Analytics and Forecasting. This position will not have a direct report, and can work remotely from anywhere in the US.
