Executive Counsel

A current license to practice law in the state of Louisiana is required. Experience in administrative law as a practicing attorney is preferred. Experience in administrative law as a prosecuting attorney is preferred. Should possess passion and the ability to prosecute a constitutionally protected property right within adversarial evidentiary hearings throughout the state. Should have the knowledge and continuing study of compliance management, training, and reporting. Should possess the knowledge and continuing study of applicable law and judicial decisions. Should be knowledgeable of the legislative process. Should be detail-oriented, with strong analytical and research skills. Should have strong organizational and time management skills. Should possess strong and persuasive verbal and written communication skills for negotiating and mediating. Should have good interpersonal and technical skills, including strong critical thinking skills, adequate deductive reasoning, and good problem-solving abilities. Should have honesty, good ethics, and social perceptiveness. Should possess a good understanding of confidentiality as related to the business of the Board.
