Global Transportation Finance (GTF) Paralegal
The candidate will interact with clients and counsel during business transactions. Assist attorneys with business leasing and loan transactions. Manage and coordinate transaction closings. Review and organize due diligence materials and client records. Manage, prepare and distribute post-closing sets and other materials. Prepare and review UCC filings and documentation. Draft and proof closing documents, materials, and correspondence. Manage International Registry filings. Annually log a target 1500 billable hours. Should preferably have a Bachelor’s degree, or an ABA-approved paralegal certificate. Should preferably have 2+ years of experience in commercial lending/asset-based financing and transactional work preferred. Should have 3-5 years of commercial lending/asset-based financing and transactional work. Familiarity with UCCs is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel; proficiency in using the Internet for fact research. Must be able to learn quickly and apply the training to practical issues. Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, excellent verbal and written skills. Must be able to work under pressure on time-sensitive projects, able to work both independently and interdependently. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to multitask multiple requests and competing deadlines. Must have a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to work overtime.
