Description
The mission of the Group, Military & Specialty Segment (GMS) Culture Team is to build segment-wide programs/plans as close to the associates as possible; encompassing all aspects of culture including: engagement; well-being; inclusion & diversity; associate development. The Senior Culture and Engagement Professional manages all aspects of culture and engagement projects, including activities designed to foster associates well-being and engagement aligned with the company's culture and values. The Senior Culture and Engagement Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations and data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities

The Senior Culture and Engagement Professional manages all aspects of culture and engagement projects, including activities designed to foster associates well-being and engagement aligned with the company's culture and values. Responsibilities Include:
Develop plans and strategy that enhance associate well-being, engagement, inclusion & diversity and all other aspects of culture
Understand Group, Military & Specialty Segment's business priorities and how culture supports these priorities
Collaborate with GMS Culture Leads, Enterprise Learning and HR partners to tailor programs for aligned business area
Identify the best channels to reach target audiences and adapt content across channels
Be conscientious of communication channels, frequency and preferences. Create and influence plans that enable the most effective communication methods
Create tracking mechanism that inventories and measures impact of communication efforts
Collaborate with senior leaders across the segment (in each of the five organizations), to decide best and appropriate communication plans and collateral for culture communications
Partner with segment communications to tailor messaging to all segment associates; making deliberate connections with culture specific communications and create content accordingly
Leverage stakeholder feedback/knowledge to influence strategy and initiative development as well as execution
Create tailored content in various delivery vehicles (emails, PowerPoint decks, Buzz, SharePoint)
Lead planning and resource development; leverage culture and well-being champions/leads/advocates
Connect with aligned segment leaders to assess needs, create tailored solutions and identify priorities
Produce and publish monthly culture metrics report with a continuous improvement lens
Interpret culture data and make actionable recommendations
Conduct, facilitate and organize culture opportunities for associates
Measure impact of initiatives to align with scorecard outcomes
Provide support in other culture areas as needed
Key Outcomes Include :
2021 Associate Experience Survey results indicate segment is at or above 90% Favorability for Engagement Index
Segment well-being snapshot improves 5% year over year (7% stretch)
Improve Inclusion & Diversity at the segment level
Grow associate talent
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
3 or more years of Culture work
5 or more years of Project Management / Program Management Mindset and Approach
Demonstrated people leadership and collaboration experience required
Passion for elevating the associate experience across the segment
Superior attention to detail, highly organized, ability to meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
Ability to lead and work through ambiguity
Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to present in large groups
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate issues

Proven ability to assess needs and tailor effective solutions
Ability to build relationships, and gain the confidence of key stakeholders and team members
Demonstrated ability to connect the dots end-to-end and focus on simplifying processes and experiences

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, SharePoint, Excel and especially PowerPoint as well as Adobe
Be willing to travel approximately 20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Experience leading and managing teams
Background or familiarity with operations
Experience building in the Learning Center
