Real Estate Case Assistant or Entry Level Paralegal -
The candidate will draft closing, conveyancing and loan documents. Analyze title reports, surveys, zoning certificates and other due diligence documents for acquisition and real estate loans. Review leases and prepares lease abstracts. Organize and assist with closings; including finalizing closing binders. Review purchase contracts and loan documents and prepare closing checklists. Perform all the necessary follow-ups for all post-closing matters. Work on multi-state loan/acquisition transactions. Ability to access and search land records. Coordinate recordation of deeds, deeds of trust, amendments, lot line adjustments, easements, covenants and other documents to be recorded. Basic experience with organizational documents. Should be highly motivated and a self-starter. Must be familiar with and observe the firm's established policies and guidelines. Must maintain positive contact with attorneys (both the firm's and outside counsel), support staff, clients and vendors. Should have the ability to interact well with attorneys, staff and clients. Good organizational, writing, and proofreading skills are needed. Should have the ability to track and meet deadlines.
