The candidate will process FOIA cases and assist in the reduction of EOUSA’s FOIA/PA Office’s backlog of over 2,600 requests. Provide general executive assistance and direction. Support policy development, administrative management, direction and oversight. Maintain operational support to law team and coordinate with other components of the Department of Justice. Conduct research locating and processing FOIA related documents. Process backlogged FOIA cases and answering status inquiries. Identify and close specific cases. Handle status calls and conducting database searches. Associate’s degree is required, Bachelor's degree preferred in related field is required. Should have 2-5 years of experience in related field. Typing skills of 40+ WPM is required.
