SUMMARY: The Transportation Associate for Global Logistics Freight Rates & Audit will be responsible for the daily management of transportation freight rates and spend; analyze and report on the changes in freight costs by collecting, transforming, and organizing freight spend data to draw conclusions with main duty to transform raw data into meaningful insights and drive informed decisions by creating Power BI applications and connecting them with live data sets for real-time analysis utilizing workflows, forms, collaboration sites, document management, and business intelligence/reporting; maintain carrier rates in TES, SAP and Fresh meats IBM AS400 mainframe; setting up new vendors for Container drayage, Railroads, Ocean carriers, Rendered Tank/Hopper Trucking & Container Freight Stations; Responsible for weekly & monthly reporting

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Requires a HS diploma and broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field Education beyond HS preferred.

Experience: 3 plus years Ocean, Rail and/or Truck rates and contract experience or advanced degree developing solutions using the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate / Flow, Power BI) experience preferred

Computer Skills: Strong experience in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel a must, SharePoint Online, Microsoft TEAMS, DB2 Structured Query Language (SQL), building visualization tools with Power BI or Tableau preferred accomplished through interactive and user-friendly creation of dashboards and reports.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Position communicates with multiple levels of management carriers and vendors.

Special Skills: Individual must be highly detail orientated. Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills along with the ability to work well on their own and with others in a team setting fostering a positive goal-oriented environment. Development and administration of BI tools, Power Applications a plus
