Senior Legal Assistant
The candidate will provides legal support such as legal and documentary research; drafting legal documents of moderate complexity; conducting interviews; and supporting discovery. Work may be in support of moderately complex litigation cases (e.g. case work, research, subpoenas, etc.). Associate Degree in Law or Paralegal Studies and 4 or more years of experience in the Legal Support area. Experience conducting electronic database research are required. Experience drafting legal documents, correspondence, and/or pleadings are required. Experience in litigation legal support are required. Bachelor’s degree are required. Insurance industry experience are required. Strong Microsoft Office skills are required. Certified Paralegal (CP) are required. Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) are required. Professional Paralegal (PP). eCEDS (E Discovery Certification) are required. Strong technical understanding and experience with e-discovery process, lifecycle, and technical issues are required. Knowledge of litigation review databases. Strong organizational and project management skills are required. Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse audiences of varying degrees of expertise are required.
