Senior Human Resources Specialist
The candidate responsibility for this role will be benefit administration for all partners and employees of the firm. Additionally, will work closely with the HRIS team and assist in streamlining and automating HR processes including the implementation of new HR system. Provide a flawless experience to Partners, Attorneys and Staff by explaining health benefits programs, answering challenging questions, escalating and resolving complex issues to resolution, and assisting in general understanding of health and wellness benefits. Research and report new benefit offerings, as well as adjustments to current plans by evaluating and comparing existing benefits with those of peer law firms to Director of Human Resources. Responsible for all compliance reporting, including ACA / 1094-1095, including individual state requirements. Monthly Billing and Member reconciliations in addition to all benefit audits. Ownership of Wellness Programs including researching and recommending new enhancements. Responsible for all Qualified Life Events, including carrier coordination, benefit premiums and appropriate communications. Responsible for integrity of benefits data and all carrier EDI files. Assist in recommending and reviewing materials, websites, booklets and all other benefits communications.
