A law firm in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to provide comprehensive legal representation to clients, both in and out of court. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on delivering high-quality work while maintaining integrity and achieving results.



  • Provide thorough and practical assessments and advice to clients throughout the legal process.
  • Prepare, draft, and review legal documents including referrals, complaints, motions, and discovery requests and responses.
  • Document account/file activity in accordance with firm and client policies.
  • Coordinate and attend virtual and in-person court proceedings, effectively handling all aspects of a case's litigation life cycle.
  • Research and interpret case laws, rulings, and regulations, formulating legal opinions for review by supervising attorneys.
  • Maintain responsive communication with clients to develop and maintain relationships.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Attend continuing education classes, webinars, and seminars to stay informed of changes in the law and court procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify high-quality solutions and utilize available resources.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and motivate other employees to achieve results.
  • Utilize legal case management software and other tools effectively.



  • Membership in the California Bar.
  • 3-5 years of legal experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of civil law firm experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of state laws and regulations relevant to motor vehicle repossessions, collections, and repair shop and storage facilities preferred (training provided).
  • Proficiency in Westlaw, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management software.



Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.



Membership in the California Bar.

  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for client communication and collaboration.
