Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate
The candidate will work with the insurance coverage practice group that represents US and foreign insurers in complex, high value, high profile coverage litigations and arbitrations. Specific responsibilities include: drafting pleadings and briefs; preparing correspondence to colleagues and clients; analyzing insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions and providing coverage recommendations for clients; conducting legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis; drafting interrogatories and document demands; reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation; attending depositions, hearings, and mediations as required; and submitting filings to the court. Should have a J.D./LL.M. degree and be admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. Additional admissions a plus. Must have 2-4 years of experience. Should have insurance coverage experience, ideally with general liability policies or working on pollution and/or construction matters. Litigation experience is required.
