Associate General Counsel, Global IP
Duties: Evaluate and determine the Company’s needs in intellectual property. Create and implement appropriate global patent strategies for the protection of innovations by the Company, working cross-functionally with senior leaders of various Business units. Collaborate with IP team to provide a full spectrum of intellectual property legal services including patent and trademark protection, enforcement, brand protection, and litigation. Counsel senior management on all IP matters, including advising on the effective use of intellectual property to protect from knockoffs and avoid or reduce the adverse impact of third-party intellectual property. Assisting in intellectual property litigation matters. Provide leadership in the invention disclosure process and in all aspects of the product development process. Provide leadership in oversight relating to the trademark portfolio. Oversee management of outside professional service providers including management and forecasting of costs, budget, and cost containment measures associated with IP services.
