Senior Legal Counsel, Americas

The candidate will partner with dynamic, globally distributed product development teams as they develop, launch, and continuously improve products and services in the US and Americas. Become an expert in unique product platform and offerings, as well as in the company’s technology, operations, and regulatory and compliance obligations, to provide strategic and practical legal advice on new and existing products, features, and initiatives. Advise on and resolve a wide range of US legal and regulatory issues related to payments and financial services. Manage a wide variety of complex commercial deals originating in the US, many with significant cross-border elements: draft and negotiate outbound SaaS commercial agreements, strategic partnership agreements, and key vendor agreements. Build a strong, collaborative working relationship with our sales and partnerships teams in order to close deals efficiently; help sales teams scale by working with them to improve legal processes, playbooks, and templates on a continuous basis. Work closely and effectively with global legal, compliance, and risk teams on deals and projects that involve multiple jurisdictions. Handle a variety of other projects and requests as the need arises. Make positive contributions to the culture of the legal team, the US team, and the company as a whole.
