IT Support Specialist I Currently we have an exciting career opportunity for an IT Support Specialist I in our Fort Wayne, IN office supporting K&K Insurance Group, a subsidiary of Aon. This position will be in the Fort Wayne office Monday – Friday. Position Summary: As a Data Center Operator, you will monitor data center processes, print checks, send carrier data feeds, interact with offshore IT and accounting resources. This position is responsible for supporting the Data Center and will serve as a backup for the Print Center. Job Responsibilities Include: Processes must be completed daily to meet stringent carrier requirementsThe position will begin as 1st shift, but candidate MUST be available to cover 2nd or 3rd shift as neededPerform AS400/DocuCorp server support by handling reboots and answering error messagesServer applications must be brought up in the correct order and continuously monitoredProcess claim and broker checks utilizing COD software.Run datafeed jobs in multiple systems and send to carrier partners via MFTP process.Skills that lead to success:A solid understanding of data center operations & technologiesProven experience showing a high degree of initiative and communication skillsGood technical aptitude, understanding and troubleshooting skillsIndependent problem solving skillsEducation:High school graduate or GED. The salary range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
