Textron Systems is searching for a Logistics Engineering Analyst to support our Hunt Valley, MD location.
Performs detailed analysis and appraisal of hardware designs to identify and document maintenance and support requirements for weapons systems. Develops Integrated Product Support (IPS) plans for equipment. Determines overall support requirements in the areas of maintenance, supply, facilities, training, personnel, transportation, spares, software and computer support, test equipment, etc. Supports implementation planning and fielding of system updates, new hardware, and software solutions. Plans, bids, schedules and reports on functional IPS activity (engineering support, provisioning, publications, training, etc.) for assigned efforts. Performs Control Account Manager (CAM) duties. Interacts directly with Government logistics customers, develops written reports, builds and delivers presentations during engineering reviews, and quarterly program meetings.
Bachelors degree in an applicable engineering field or logistics discipline strongly preferred or experience in lieu of degree. Requires two years of combined integrated product support or logistics engineering experience in two or more IPS disciplines. Or, 5-7 years technical experience with military maintenance or sustainment. Interpret technical drawings and specifications. Author customer presentations and reports using MS Office products. Demonstrates understanding of the integrated logistics support process. Highly desirable candidates demonstrate practical use of one or more logistics tools such as COLTS, SLICwave, PowerLOG-J, COMPASS, etc. Performs program management functions in accordance with earned value management concepts and guidelines. Coordinates and manages functional support teams to achieve IPS program plans. Experience in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).
