Senior Counsel, Commercial Programs
The candidate will counsel clients on commercial activities, including the development and execution of go-to-market strategies and innovative contracting, related to products, services and solutions offered by the Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies across U.S. customer channels. Will focus on transactions and interactions with healthcare providers, group purchasing organizations, payers, and other customers, including contracting, risk mitigation, policy development and review. Partner and collaborate with Pricing Strategy, Contract Administration, Account Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Health Care Compliance and other functions, and be directly responsible for providing legal counsel and support related to fraud and abuse laws (including the federal Anti-Kickback Statute and associated safe harbors, OIG guidance and state laws) and related health care laws and regulations, industry standards and company policies. Facilitate effective engagement with key customers, including driving productive negotiations of commercial arrangements and management of commercial dispute resolution. Build and deliver training to clients on a range of legal considerations and health care compliance topics related to commercial programs, contract negotiation and interactions with commercial customers. Engage on, and plan for, legal, regulatory and policy developments impacting our customer relationships and business strategies to ensure our support is innovative, agile and appropriately adapted to a constantly evolving environment. Advise on supply chain and distribution functions and strategies. Effectively provide and coordinate legal support in above areas, requiring independent initiative, contributing as a member of cross-functional teams and collaborating with business and Law Department colleagues on key matters.
