Job Description:

The Restaurant Manager of the Future (RMoF) is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and making sure the restaurant meets McDonald’s standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are high, so this is an extra-important role! The RMoF works with their leader to set the restaurant’s goals and builds a plan to achieve those goals. Other key responsibilities include:

Leading a team of Managers with specific responsibilities in the restaurant

Helping the in setting their own goals, following up on their progress, and providing mentoring and direction to improve and the restaurant overall

Hiring, coaching, and developing Shift Managers and Crew Leaders to make sure that the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future

Successfully completing Travel Paths, Restaurant Diagnostics, ROP, Schedules and Inventory

Qualifications:

Handles day-to-day challenges confidently and effectively

Understanding of P&L analysis, Cash Controls, Labor Analysis, Yields, and calculating food costs

Ability to analyze Food Cost and create an action plan

Available to work a variety of shifts and times of day

Ability to lead a team of managers and crew

Ability to train and develop a successful team

Desire to create and maintain a positive work environment

Confidence in communication between their team, peers, and direct reports while presenting information in a clear and concise manner
