Summer Law Student Internship
The interns will primarily conduct research and writing, including public policy work, in support of the Center's mission to reduce poverty. In addition to legal research and writing, will occasionally contribute to substantive articles for Clearinghouse Community, our online source of information for the advocacy community; WomanView, a periodic newsletter of our Women's Law and Policy project on issues affecting low-income women and girls; and the blog. Will be invited to participate with advocates with work in the field, as schedules and time permit. Will also participate in behind-the-scenes meetings with advocacy staff, coalition partners and decision-makers. Law students from any ABA accredited law school in the US will be considered. Interns receive $6,000 for working 400 hours full-time.
