Program Manager, Oncology Quality & Accreditation','213934','Cancer Institute','Washington-Seattle','Days','40 hours per week','40 hours per week','Days','Days','Monday - Friday','Monday - Friday','','','!*!As the Program Manager, Oncology Quality and Accreditation you will provide operational support and overall coordination for the strategic implementation of the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) Commission on Cancer (CoC), American College of Radiology (ACR) and other accreditation standards within the Cancer program.

This position facilitates on-going quality improvement activities throughout the phases of cancer care, from screening through survivorship. This work includes quality improvement activities, policy and procedure implementation, survey preparation and management, interactions with the ACoS and ACR and their associated agencies, assessment of standard compliance and reporting of vulnerabilities to the Oncology Director and key stakeholders, conducting and/or coordinating training in response to identified or potential deficiencies to leadership, educators and staff.

Additionally, you will assist in review/trending of defects identified in report information and provides quality information for internal review (e.g. HICOR). You will also provide guidance and coaching to oncology leadership and staff aimed at achieving a state of continuous readiness surrounding licensure, accreditation and certification programs. Ability to work in an internal consultant role, with or without line management authority and experience with quality improvement, lean management are necessary. Must also be able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and have in depth knowledge of the health care industry and its continual evolution.

Bachelor's degree

2 years' healthcare experience, consulting, operational, project management required

Basic understanding of quality improvement and regulatory bodies

Basic skills using spreadsheets and proficiency with data analyses with a strong attention to detail

Strong organizational, written and verbal communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills

Preferred:

Master's degree or higher-level degree

Demonstrated knowledge of, and skill in performing root-cause analysis, performance improvement techniques and medical system performance analysis

Demonstrated presentation skills and experience conducting educational sessions
