Fulfilling contract requests through independent management of the contracting workflow to ensure legal and regulatory compliance of the Alliance’s contracts while meeting deadlines.  You will conducts research and analysis on contract terms and language as needed, in order to evaluate solutions and alternatives. You will collaborate directly with individual stakeholders to provide guidance on Alliance contracting policies and procedures.  You will collect and synthesize data to produce reports for external auditors and state agencies as needed.  You will perform continuous quality evaluation and improvement of contracting related functions. You will assist with special program and/or new contract process development and implementation.

Knowledge of:

• Legislative and regulatory directives
• Principles and processes for providing customer service
Ability to:
• Work independently and exercise sound judgment and discretion
• Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
• Understand and interpret contract language, legislative and regulatory directives
• Prepare, proofread and edit contracts
• Research relevant legal materials to aid in decision making
Education and Experience:
• 2 years of experience with managed care or administrative contracting, health services or government assistance programs
• Bachelor's degree required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be qualifying
