Location:

• Burbank, CA

Duties:

• Manage a docket of Workers' Compensation cases from initiation to resolution.
• Conduct depositions as part of case preparation.
• Negotiate settlements and actively work towards case resolutions.
• Provide guidance and direction to paralegals and other non-attorney staff as needed.
• Foster a positive workplace environment and set a strong example for support staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Workers' Compensation law.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Experience with doctors' depositions (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead and motivate non-attorney staff.
• Ability to work effectively under time constraints and in high-pressure situations.
