Litigation Staff Attorney

Profile

Dinsmore & Shohl, a prominent national law firm with over 750 attorneys in 29 cities, has an immediate opportunity for a litigation staff attorney in our Pittsburgh office. Preferred candidates will have two to four years of litigation experience, including experience preparing and arguing motions, taking depositions, document preparation, and preparing cases for trial. Asbestos defense experience is preferred and this is a non-partnership track position. Familiarity with the Pennsylvania and West Virginia court system is a plus. All candidates should have a strong academic background, and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
A license to practice in Pennsylvania and West Virginia is preferred, or willingness to become admitted in the other state if only licensed in Pennsylvania or West Virginia. Out of state candidates who are either willing to sit for the bar exam or eligible for admission in Pennsylvania or West Virginia will be considered.
